Mr. Schwartz is a Founder and Managing Member of Waterton Associates, LLC, a real estate company that acquires multi-family, specialty office, industrial, hotels, parking facilities and other specialized development properties to which they can add value through re-positioning and renovation.

Mr. Schwartz is also a Managing Member of Evergreen Realty Partners, an entity that specializes in the acquisition and repositioning of industrial properties. He has been a principal in real estate investment and finance since 1985.

Mr. Schwartz received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Mr. Schwartz is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Schwartz is Immediate Past President of the University of Chicago’s Children’s Hospital Pediatric AIDS Auxiliary and is a member of the Visiting Committee of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago and a Central Board Member of the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago.
