Strategic Capital Partners Promotes Robb Bollhoffer to Managing Director

Robert J. (Robb) Bollhoffer, Vice President, Acquisitions for Strategic Capital Partners, LLC ( SCP), has been promoted to Managing Director. In this executive role, Robb will expand his current acquisition and asset management responsibilities to include corporate and investment decision making within SCP.

“Robb has done an outstanding job on multiple fronts for SCP, from acquisitions to asset management to fundraising,” said Richard Hurd, President of Strategic Capital Partners. “He has played a significant role in the growth of SCP. He is well-respected and has the highest level of integrity.”

Robb joined SCP in 2005. Located in the Chicago office, Robb oversees a large portfolio of assets throughout the U.S. and focuses on making new investments, primarily in multi-family, student and senior housing and office. Robb will also oversee SCP’s platform of investing in smaller assets, which is funded primarily from high-net worth investors.
Prior to joining SCP, Robb was in the acquisitions group at Trizec Properties, Inc., one of the nation’s largest publicly-held owners and operators of commercial real estate. He was instrumental in the acquisition of more than $1 billion of office buildings primarily in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles.

Robb earned a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from DePaul (Kellstadt) University, where he graduated with honors and was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Robb is a member of the Chicago Real Estate Council, a board member of DePaul’s Real Estate Alumni Association and a member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Real Estate Alumni Association.
